28 September 2016 2. To carry on the business of manufacturing, generation, transmission, and distribution of the electricity either on ownership basis or on lease or hire purchase or on contract basis, to generate the hydro power, thermal power, solar power, Bio-Power, wind power, nuclear power, atomic power and also to generate power by using any other means and non conventional sources of energy and renewable energy including bio fuel, ethanol or by using the steam generated in chemical plant and to become dealer in buying and selling all sort of power either to electricity boards or any other parties and also to construct or erect the power generating unit, transmission line or power station in India or abroad upon any terms whatsoever including operation and maintenance of the plant or any other system of manufacturing, generation, transmission, and distribution of the electricity and to manufacture, purchase, upkeepment or otherwise deal in all forms of plant and machinery, equipment of power generation, distribution or transmission and to lease or otherwise deal with them in any manner including the resale thereof.
