29 June 2014 I HAVE TO FILE MY INCOME TAX RETURN BUT INCOME IN MY FORM 16 IS MISMATCH WITH FORM 26AS. HOWEVER AMOUNT OF TDS IS SAME. SO WHAT FIGURE OF INCOME SHOULD I REFER FOR MY RETURN- FORM 16 OR FORM 26AS?

30 June 2014 Show your actual income in the return so that when called for you can justify the income amount with the documentary evidence. The can be mistake in form 16 and 26AS but you should show only the actual.

30 June 2014 You need to file your income as actual. As there are times when there is mistake in calculation by deductor. If u r sure about YOUR calculation, mention the same in your itr.
