company secretary salary considered for the purpose of computation of managerial remuneration under section 197? would it make any difference if he is
s also a director of a company?

not only company secretary, the salary paid to Managing Director, Whole Time Director, CEO, CFO and any other designation fall under KMP come under the purview of Section 197 . however, this section apply to public company only
