10 February 2014 Please tell in whose name rent bill is issued and for what amount.

If its issued in your name for Rs 7500/- then you are not required to furnish PAN of landlord for claiming HRA Exemption.

11 February 2014 Thank you Sir.....Thank you for your quick reply

I have another query regarding Home Loan.

One took a Joint home loan for a House Property. The loan amount was Rs.64,00,000
The loan repaid by both 50% each . The total amount paid by both for Principal repayment and Interest (April 13 to March 14) was

Principal Component:- Rs.57,00,000
interest Component :- Rs.4,38,602

My query is,

How to consider this for tax deduction...?

Consider 50 % of Total amount what we paid OR 50% of Maximum deduction as per section 80C & 24....?

Please help me....

Thanks & Regards
Ratheesh
