Is any service tax applicable on job work done for others.
or any other tax such as excise , VAT .

If your Product is Excisable then service tax not applicable on job work. otherwise service tax applicable @10%+2%+3%
If you will give undertaking to your excise Commissioner then under Rule 4(5)A job work can be done with ought excise duty Vide Notification No. 214/1986
