ITR-2 filling out problem

30 April 2008 while filling out ITR-2 i noticed that there was nowhere i could state the professional tax paid(have to use ITR-2 coz LTCG and salary).As a result of which the professional tax paid will be included in my taxable income.I am baffled.What do i do?

01 May 2008 you will give net figure of your salary i.e.after deducting prof.tax in salary return ITR 1 also not mention in the return if you used any software for income tax they are given for deduction of prof.tax but net figure is taken in the ITR
