Income tax intimation u/s 143(1) not received

31 August 2016 Hi,
I have filed income tax return on line. In incometax portal it it is showing that ITR Processed No demand No Refund on date 16/08/2016. But I have not received any intimation email U/S 143(1). which I used to get in previous years. Please suggest what to do.

I have followed the steps in link you have given. But when I submit error message comes : No Intimation order exists for the Assessment Year.

31 July 2024 If you've filed your income tax return online and the Income Tax Portal shows "No demand No refund" but you haven't received the intimation under s 143(1), you can resolve the issue by checking your email and SMS notifications, verifying with the Income Tax Portal, downloading the ITR-V form if applicable, submitting a grievance request, contacting the Centralized Processing Centre (CPC), filing a rectification request, checking for any pending issues, and verifying your PAN and acknowledgment. It's important to keep records of all communications and follow up with the Income Tax Department if the issue remains unresolved. If necessary, escalate the matter through the appropriate channels provided by the Income Tax Department. By following these steps, you should be able to address the issue of not receiving the intimation u/s 143(1).
