02 July 2012 In case department asks us(a private company) to prove the genuineness of a company from whom we have received share application money....
What are the documents which are conclusive as a proof of identity of the company from whom we received share application money....urgent..

02 July 2012 You will need to submit the following obtaining the same from that company to prove the genuineness of the company :-

1) Copy of PAN Card.
2) Letter forwarding the share application money.
3) Copy of their bank statement showing the transaction.
4) Copy of their latest balance sheet and Income Tax Return.
5) Company Master Data obtained from MCA website duly autheticiated.

02 July 2012 if the company was genuine when share application money was taken but does not exist as on date....

02 July 2012 Then you shall produce the rest of the documents and even in Company Master Data the status must be Strike Off, Liquidated, Under the process of Liquidation etc...If not Active.
