How to change it jurisdiction?

05 October 2016 My client is having Jurisdiction in Katni (madhya Pradesh), he has recd IT Notice. since client has settled in Mumbai since last so many years & the address on the income tax site & PAN has also been updated but still the jurisdiction has not changed to Mumbai.
So how can we change the jurisdiction?

06 October 2016 The change of jurisdiction is usually not done automatically with change of address in PAN and return records.
First of all locate your new Assessing Officer and obtain his details such as Ward, Circle etc.
You will need to file a letter with your erstwhile AO, marking a copy to the CIT for the charge, stating that your address has changed and you are requesting a transfer of jurisdiction to the new AO.
To this letter attach a copy of the PAN Change Data Application and proof of address change.
