Whether Employees of Public Sector undertaking like New India Assurance Company Ltd can claim Gratuity exempt under Gratuity payable to Government Employees or will they not fall under Government employees

Whether Employees of Public Sector undertaking like New India Assurance Company Ltd can claim Gratuity exempt under Gratuity payable to Government Employees or will they not fall under Government employees

They will not fall under Govt employees. But usually all the PSUs pay gratuity as per the provisions of gratuity Act which is fully exempted.
