Please suggest me, is it necessary to file form 8 with the ROC for creation of Charge in case OD Loan against FDR.

This is a case covered under section 125(4)(e) of the Companies Act,1956, and hence creation of charge by filing e-form 8 is not necessary.
20 January 2011
Since the company is pledging the FDRs with the Bank, no need to file e-form 8.
