What is Excise Duty expenses in Balance Sheet. Is it only Excise duty paid on Basic Sales or its enclude Interest, Penalty and Show cause Demand?

In my view it could certainly be duty + interest whether through the SCN or otherwsie. penalty may have to be indicated separately. Pl confirm from your CA.
