Efiling of return

08 October 2011 Dear All,
As we all know that all assessee has to file their return online, therefore I tried filing a return. I found a difficulty in the return. In the challan service worksheet, the "source document number tab " is not taking the serial no of the challan paid into the bank. It is showing an error " the source document no is not in the correct format ". There is no comment also to show the correct format of the numbers to be put into. Please someone guide me on this issue.

THE FORMAT OF FILING SERVICE TAX CHALLAN SERIOL NO IS (BSRCODE+DATE+S.N.)
SUPPOSE YOUR BANK BSR CODE IS 0123456 AND DATE IS 05.10.2011 AND S.N. IS 18 IN THAT CASE CHALLAN DTAIL TO BE FILLED AS UNDER:-

08 October 2011 Dear Sir,

While filing details in GAR-7 challan tab, it is taking the format as you provided, but in the source document no which is there under the GAR-7 Challan details, the Format is not getting accepted. Please help me on this.
