can u tell me what are the recent changes made in Works contract service?? how much service provider has to pay and how much service receiver has to pay??

04 October 2012 Reverse charge has been made applicable on works contract service vide N/N 30/2012 dated 20.06.2012

Accordingly, the service tax liability is now to be shared by the service provider as well as the service recipient.

50% of the service tax liability is to be borne by the service provider and 50% by the service recipient.
