one of my client is charging cst @5% and surcharge 5%
1. i want to know y cst charged @5% at present rate is 2%
client is in bangalore and am in tamilnadu.

CST is charged at 2% if the buyer is able to give C form. Otherwise CST is charged at the rate which is the normal VAT rate on goods applicable in seller's state.
