I would like to know if computer rentals attracts service tax if so how much?

i) If possession and control rests with the lessee , it is 'right to use' which attracts VAT and hence no ST liability. Therefore, you have to check your state VAT law to ascertain VAT liability.
ii) If possession rests with the lessor, service tax attracts @ 12.36% and hence no VAT.
