please give us the rate of service tax.

28 January 2010 Service tax is exempted in terms of excuting works in international airport

Thank you for your reply.

But service tax people are telling that when we are doing sub contract it will come under errection & commissioning. Hence we are liable to pay.

29 January 2010 The exact nature of the work would enable one to ensure that the exclusion appl;ies to you. Please see the defintion of works contract from any good commentary.
If applicable rate is 10.3% on the value of services. ( exclusding goods) or composition 4.12%.
