Claiming tax refund for 2012-13

30 May 2015 The assessee has commission income subject to TDS. While filing the tax return for the AY 2012-13, the bank details (Account no.) was wrongly given (unintentionally).

Due to which tax refund could not be claimed on the said TDS. What should the assesse do? How to claim such tax refund?

30 May 2015 you can best meet the ao and explain him the matter he will guide u as now u cannot revise the return.

30 May 2015 i think in return u had claimed the refund na... now just meet the AO and tel him abt the mistake.... soon u wil get the refund

31 May 2015 Was this return filed online? if yes, then first check the refund status online under "My Account" on incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

If the refund shows rejected/return, then apply for re-issue of refund using the above website.

if the return was manual, then do as other experts suggested
