21 February 2012 A PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY HAS BEEN FORMED TO CARRY ON THE BUSINESS OF LEASE FINANCING. IS IT NECESSARY TO OBTAIN CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION FROM RESERVE BANK OF INDIA TO COMMENCE THE BUSINESS THOUGH IT IS NOT GOING TO ACCEPT ANY DEPOSIT?

It is required to take RBI permission for commencing business hiring or leasing activities. It is not that only Depository activities will take permission from RBI.
