15 March 2010 I want to know how to calculate Basic Salary and HRA?My Gross Salary is 17,000/- per month and I am living in Hyderabad.I want to know Is Hyderabad comes under Metro or Non Metro cities.

16 March 2010 Hydrabad is Non metro .Basic Salary percentage is based on HR policy.some companies havving 30%,40%,50% ratios, and HRA 40%,or 50% of Basic generally companies are maintaining
