Dear Experts,

I cleared Ca final in May 2012. i got enrolled as a member in Nov 2012. I also have my membership Identity card (I am not in practice) Yesterday i received a communication from ICAI for Convocation of 2014. It is for membership nos (series) after mine lyk my no. is suppose 152345 so the range of membership nos for whom convocation is arranged is say 155000- 160000. The letter also says that members who were unable to take Certificate of Membership due to any reason in previous years can also collect theirs in this convocation.

My query is what exactly is Certificate of Membership? What purpose does it serve? Can i receive it by post without having to attend the convocation? Please reply.

i was filling the itr for ay2014-15 but excel utility for itr4 is not available on incometax website so whether i should weight or try to work on java utility

Dear Members, Since the budget has came on 10th july 2014 and the exemption limit below 60 yrs has been extended to Rs. 250000/-.But while calculating TDS on salary for the month of april may and june we have calculated it on the basis of Rs. 200000/- exemption limit.Please clarify whther we should again calculate it from april onwards or we should calculate it from july onwards on the basis of Rs. 250000/- limit.

My salary income for FY 2013-2014 has been at 1,40,000. i have also earned arround 1,00,000 as a freelance income from various clients. i have never been deducted any TDS neither from my employer nor from my clients.

can you give me advice how to file returns,(which forms are applicable and so on..). i am a first time tax payer.

As per Companies Act 2013 duty of auditor if he resigns :
Auditor is required to file a statement specifying the reasons and fact of resignation within 30 days of resignation with ROC and company or CAG in case of Govt. Companies. If auditor fails to comply with above mentioned provisions then he shall be punishable with fee of Rs. 50,000- Rs. 500,000.
which form is used for filing of the Form ADT-3 by the auditor with the the ROC ????
