Company is in the business of booking accomodation other then tour package for client along with cook and other facilities, accomodation which are given for stay is taken on lease by another sister concern company. how much service tax in to be charged for accomodation and what about the luxury tax and if any other tax applicable, pl let me know. Mr.A purchased agricultural land during Dec-2005 and declared income from Agriculture land in his return of Income for rate purpose. Agriculture Land is situated in a village, which is beyound 8 K.M from municipal limit and population is less than 10,000.
Whether sale of above agriculture land during July 2008 will attract short term Capital Gain Tax.
For the finl year 2007-08 & 2008-09 is the max limit of Rs.24,000/- applicable?

As per the revised procedure of reporting under FDI scheme, the Company is required to submit KYC along with the FIRC. Is this KYC has to be signed by the Remitter's bank or by the Authorised Dealer ?
