what is the basis for a company for going to public issue i.e., which are the companies that can go for public issue? please confirm me whether there are any conditions for companies to satisfy before going for public issue?

Under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 why 26 days are considered as one month in the formula (15/26 X Last drawn salary X Number of completed years of service or part thereof in excess of 6 months) for the computation of taxable amount of Gratuity?

when the service provider in addition to provision of services, also supplies some material. on which amount the wct shall be deducted. please bill is submitted jointly for both the things.

what would be the situation if seperate bill is submitted for supplies & services.

1. That the Board meeting to be conveyed for Applying for name approval (i.e. eform 1A)
2. That the General Meeting to be coveyed pass resolution and Filling of Form 1B and Form 23 with in time limit
3. That the Changes to be made in the MoA and AoA

now my query is that:
1. is there any stamp duty payable for change in name. if yes on which form (we are in the State of Maharashtra)
2. is it possible to go for change in name viz a viz change in the object clause (in the MoA) if yes what is the procedure.

My bank is providing finance to a indian company for investing in equity of a company located in saudi arabi. Is there any way through which shares of the saudi company can be pledged or can i create any charge on the assets of the saudi company in favour of the bank.
In other ways how can i get a secuirty of the saudi company to the extent of my loan

Presently i have taken the corporate guarantee of the borrower company and extension of charge on the assets of the borrower.

I am working as an article in a local firm of Mumbai.I would like to know the procedure for taking transfer from current CA firm to another CA. Is there any restrictions on the no of transfer I can take during my articleship period. Also, If my current CA does not allow me to take the transfer then , can I Complaint the same in CA institute?If so, Please tell me the procedure & appropriate authority. 2) 1st AGM can be held within 18 months from date of incorporation.
3) Is it compulsory to prepare B/s from 05.03.2007 to 31.03.20007?
4) If yes, whether necessary to hold AGM in 2007 itself to adopt the B/s?
5) Can we prepare B/s from 05.03.2007 to 31.03.2008 and hold 1st AGM on 03.09.2008?
6) Can we adopt B/s from 05.03.2007 to 31.03.2007 and 01.04.2007 to 31.03.2008 in 1st AGM to be held on 03.09.2008?
