Composite scheme

The company is into selling computers and giving them on rental. It also provides AMC on which it charges service tax. The company does not want to apply for composite scheme. Is it fine?? It taken input credit only to the extend of 20% of Output service tax

Section 80 C and 80 D

Dear sir

I have ICICI Prudential Life Insurance (annual Premium for minimum 3 years ) and
Max New York Life Insurance (similar premium)

Are these fallen under 80C or 80D? I want
to avail benefit under 80D (minimum 15000)
which product I can choose?

Please suggest.

Mediclaim Insurance Proceeds.

If anybody receives mediclaim insurance proceeds is the proceeds taxable or not taxable or exempt from tax? If it is exempt under which section of the Income tax act 1961?

Renting of Immovable property

dear all,

A partnership firm having transport business gives one of property to his sister concern & charge rent per month which is exeeding 10 Lacs pa.my query is whether firm is required to registered in service tax because renting of property is not firm`s business,its not a normal business transaction.

as per definition of service as per my understanding service tax on renting of property is applicable only when renting of property is our regular business transaction.

vat rate

what is the vat rate on sand concrete.
If it is purchased from unregistered dealers then should it be taken into account in order to calculate output vat on contract.
Further, if purchases are made inter state, then should it be taken into account in order to calculate output vat on contract.
please ans.
It is realy urgent.

Capitalisation or charge off to P & L A/C

I have taken one domain address i.e web address at Rs. 1,30,000. This is one time settlement. No further charges were payable by me.
can we caspitalize the same or not?

i am doing my article for the past 1 year. i wanted to know is it possible to work under another CA with out taking transfer with the mutual consent of both CA. even though they are not partners in the same Firm and have different firm of their own. please help
