applicability of excise duty

Sir,

purchases were made before 24.02.2009, invoice was raised before 24.02.2009,but invoice was processed now.

at what rate the excise duty will be applicable.

is it deffered if invoice was raised after 24.02.2009,but supplies were made before 24.02.2009

Applicability of service tax new rate

Sir,

Service was provided before 24.02.2009, but invioce was raise after 24.02.2009.

at what rate Service tax is applicable.


is the above applicable rate is applicable even services provided befor 6 or 8 months form 24.02.2009.

Sales tax on sale of fixed assets

A pvt. ltd. company sold a fixed asset (Car). Should it have to pay sales tax/CST on sold amount of car? Comoany is registered under Sales Tax Act.

Should sales tax/CST is payable if assets destroyed/lost and insurance claim received?

Hello to every one i hope all r fine i have a doubt that i filed the income tax for the period f.y. 0809 and now i received the letter from directorate of income tax in that tax deducted at source for claiming (TDS receivables for me) i mention the tan number of the party wrongly so whats the procedure to rectify that whether revised or any possibilities is there can any one guide me pls.
