that is unabsorbed dep can be set off from any other income & not specify other than salary income
One of My client has filed return for the A.Y. 07-08 on 31-10-07. No notice u/s 143(2) was received till end of 6 months from the end of Asst Year i.e. 30-09-08. Now Notice u/s 142(1) has been issued to the client and all particulars normally asked for in a scrutiny assessment are incuded in the notice issued now in august 2009. Is the notice valid in law. If we do not heed the notice shall the officer have to take up the matter for scrutiny (which is time barred) or pass an order U/s 144.
A Company was incorporated on 5th of March, 2007. The Annual Accounts and Annual Return of the company were not filed till now. How can we file the same for this year? What is the period for which we have to file the Annual Accounts and Annual Return now? can you please advise me int his regard?

I own 2 properties. 1 is in bangalore which i have rented out and the other is in pune which i'm currently occupying. What is the deduction that i'm eligible for in terms of income/loss from house property? Will i be able to claim the entire interest on loan as a deduction for my bangalore property? Is there any benefit that i can claim from the property that i'm occupying in pune (this property is also on loan)?

if a proprietor has two proprietorship concerns and in both firms sales is above 40 lacs
then he needs to have 2 tax audit for separate firms or
single tax audit report will be made for both the firms
both firms are doing different businesses
i as a company had appointed the auditor in the AGM but later the auditor had resigned as he went out of station so now i want to know the procedure to be followed to appoint the new auditor
