Who is the board of directors ? who can become the director of company either member of company or any outsider individual ?

1. Should TDS be deducted for Freight paid for transportation of raw material from Mumbai to Gujarat through Ship.
2. Are shipping company included in Goods Transport agencies ??

Sir I filled a return (Assessment Year 2012– 13)of an Individual Assess as on 26/07/2012 and ITR V received by the Department on 28/08/2012. But sill I found from the site that refund has not been determined.
What is the way to know the processing status or if the return will not come then what I have to do for that? Please help me.

A partnership firm has not filed its income tax return since its incorporation from the last 6 years. They have PAN number also. Now they want to file the return for current assessment year 2012-13 in March.

Can they file the return of current year since they have not filed the return before?

A company has purchased car under hire purchase with a Pvt Finance company. Finance company has not insisted on filing e-form 8 for registration of charge. Is it necessary to file e-form 8 with ROC, though the finance company not insisted on the same?
