I have applied for COP with ICAI in the form 6. I have recd a mail from ICAI for filling the details in the Sr. no. 3 of Form 6. As per the Sr. No. 3, it asks the details of other occupation. I am not into any other occupation. So what do I fill in it. As its a mandatory question and without it, it cannot be processed. Pls help me out ASAP

An assessee (Individual) has purchased two adjacent flats in a building and combined the two flats into one. Now the question is whether this combined flat will be treated as one house property or two house properties under Income Tax?

If treated as one house property, it will become SOP and no tax on same. However if treated as two properties, one property will be SOP and another will become DLOP which will attract income tax.

Kindly advise on the same

Is the period for filing the service tax return has been changed to half yearly from Oct 2012?

i had post a query on e sahayata that i had not received my articleship completion letter
from ICAI. They said that we will mail you on your email id for confirmation of your email but i had not received any mail. please help me what to do & how shoul i get my articleship completion letter.
