I have completed ipcc in may 2013 & I want to do CS now during articles. Is it benefit to pursue this course and it will be help ful to me in future as I want to go to job. Can I get better package if I complete both courses in future. Please reply me in detail.
Why dividend on share purchased from out side is adjust against cost and not shown in income column?
Respected Sir/Mam,
We are hereby placing this problem before you since we all are facing lot of problems while completing our articleship training. Hence,we are placing our grievances before you as follows:
1. Uncivilized office - The office is so uncivilized that there are no lights in d washroom,no water over there and they keep it uncleaned for days and it is very unhygienic to use it, especially for girls.
-There is no source of drinking water,we have to carry large bottles of water from are place.
2. Irregular payment of stipend-It is observed that we don't get are cheques unless we ask for them at least twice or thrice,our cheques get bounced/dishonored many a times and as per our principal's word regarding payment of stipend, we should receive our cheques on 10th of each month but till now it is found that we receive our cheques late atleast after 15th or 20th of the month and some of them dont receive cheques for 2months and later on we get them as pre-dated i.e. With a date showing as 10th of the next month for the month of which payment is been made.
3. Personal work- We joined our articleship as per the rules N regulations of The ICAI and we hereby expect that we should be given professional work (taxation,audit,accounts,finalizations,etc.) ,but so far we found that we are bound to do our principal's personal work too (driving his car,carrying his bags,bill payments like credit card debit card payments,mobile bill payments,etc.)
4. Office Environment- Recently, we found that a person working in our office staff had drunk and was consuming alcohol in the cabin where we sit and work. Many a times girls are left alone in the office and now we feel it is inconvenient to sit and work in such environment. Not only in the office, but girls are even left alone at the client's place or with the client, which is a matter of concern.
5. Working hours and timings - As per the registration made by us under the prescribed form we can see that it is not followed in reality, we are forced to sit till late after 8pm,9pm whereas our timings written in the form are not beyond 7pm. Many a times we are not allowed to go before 9.45-10pm since our Principal's work remains pending and in our office all the articles except 1or 2 come from a distance far away from the office, which takes atleast 1.5hrs to 2hrs to reach home. In a week we complete our 35working hours yet we find that we sit for more then 45-54hours in a week.
6. Poor Management- We all the article trainees of this firm are facing a lot of problems due to the poor management of the firm and its work. Since our Principal is the only person above us as our senior, it is very difficult to complete work without any guidance and for him it is very difficult to look into each article trainees work, check his work and make corrections and give solutions. There is no thing like assignment of work and so it becomes very uneasy to deal with the work we are currently handling. As we are here for learning everything like auditing,taxation,accounting,etc., we expect that we all should be rotated from one client to another,but we find that there is no rotation. In this firm,everything depends on the availability of the person.
7. Transfer - Even in the case of transfer,it is such that if we place all are grievances before him then, First of all he does'nt hear are problems and continues with what he says, secondly if we upfront tell hm that we are facing all these problems and hence, we are unable to work comfortably, then he insults us and asks us to take transfer, but does'nt give us the sign. In 1 case, he gave d consent to take transfer, that article was asked to give notice period of 3months and even after working for that extended period of 3months, he is still asked to run here N there for sign after joining the new firm. In general, the Principals of other firms giv transfer if both have problems working with each other i.e. The Principal and The Article. But in our firm, consent is given for transfer but yet our principal avoids to sign on the form giving number of reasons and so we don't even get a new firm to join for articleship since they ask for are transfer form first and then allow us to join there.
8. Completion of Articleship/Secondment/Industrial Training - In this case, we all feel that since there are no seniors in the firm, the articles who have worked here for 2yrs or more and who know the work, would not be allowed to go for Industrial Training/Secondment since after them there will be no one to handle the work of those clients. In the case of completion of articleship also, we fear that are principal would not sign on the prescribed form since he does'nt have senior employees to handle the work of his clients and may extend our period of articleship so that some other new article may learn that work and then we may leave the firm.
With great regrets we have to send these complaints but for us it is a matter of our career. Please give us a feedback regarding what we can do now since many of us have completed our 1st year of Articleship and two of us are taking transfer within their 1st year.

As per RBI Circular RBI/2013-14/292 DBS.CO.PPD No. 3578 /11.01.005/2013-14 dated September 17, 2013 all the Scheduled Commercial Banks (Excluding RRBs) / Local Area Banks are instructed not to indulge in the zero percent EMI schemes offered.
Is this means that NBFCs are allowed to provide loans on such zero percent schemes, as NBFC are not written in circular?

should tds be deducted in current year on interest other than interest on securities u/s 194A by individual assessee, if during financial year immediately preceding the financial year in which interest is credited or paid-business profits were audited under section 44AD due to lower income declaration
I submitted my E return for assessment year 2012-13 in the month of Aug. 2012. I have not yet received any intimation till date Can any body tell me the reason for the delay. I am everyday checking on website.
