Deduction under section 80e

My client has taken loan education loan for her daughter's higher education, he started repayment from the FY 2012 - 2013, he paid interest of Rs. 97000/- in FY 2012-2013 but he couldn't take deduction u/s 80E while filing return.

Can he take deduction for the amount paid in the FY 2012-2013 i.e Rs. 97000/- while filing return for the FY 2013-2014,

Because as per income tax act, deduction is available if interest is paid by individual in previous financial year.

Import duty

One of my client is going to import machinery from Italy. On which he is liable to pay import duty. But he is not ready for the payment instead he is asking for exemption of the same against making export of it's product which falls under food industry.

In that case i want to know which provisions can be helpful to my client?

Software related service.

i m a company, i took a AMC of software firewall to prohibit employees to enter unoffical websites during office hours.
They provded this bill
Example:-
Value = 30000
ST @ 12.36% on 30000 = 3708
CST @5% on 33708 = 1685
Total 35393

I want to know whether this bill is correct. and whether i should deduct TDS at a rate of 10% on 33708. under 194J i should deduct TDS as its amount to payment of royalty.

St applicable on what amount?

I have to submit a quotation for a big cooling tower system on LSTK basis. The tender documents term it as 'indivisible contract' but price is to be quoted separately for Materials (Supplies) and Services (erection cost). My question: Is ST lapplicable on total lump sum cost of work or just on the cost of services (i.e., erection price). Please advise urgently. Thanks in advance.
