sir, i want to know the procedure for termination in first year of articleship training. can a student rejoin with other principal after a time period/ two months or he has to start his training immediately? will his already served training period be counted for 3 years time period? plz clarify.can this information be dowloaded from ICAI website, if yes from which source

Dear Experts,

I want to take transfer from my present principal(c.a.) due to non availability of work.Earlier my principal told me to give good work but now he is saying that i would have to remain in the vat department for whole 3 years of articleship. 1year & 2 months have elapsed till now. He is allowing Me To Take Transfer Any Time But The Problem Is that i have to take consent of icai. and i dont think they would allow me.Please help me sir, i dont wanna waste my 3 years.My ca is 100% ready to give me transfer.
