I have taken transfer and got letter that my articleship began from 29-12-2011 for balance period I.e. 2yr 2mnth and 15 days..now I have submitted my form 108 and shown completion date as 12-3-2014...in response of this I got letter from institute stating that completion date should be 14-3-2014...they asked me to reply within 15 days...pls help..what to do

I need your guidance on the issue of termination and change of articleship.

I suffered Chicken Guinea and due to my ill health I shall have to be on leaves till good amount of time. But I am getting treatment from private doctors, so no certificate from government hospital is available with me.

I am from Rajasthan and currently doing my articleship in Gurgaon. Now if I want to change my articleship from Gurgaon to Rajasthan, please let me know the consequences and procedure.

I am in second year of my aticleship. I had started my articleship from July 1, 2012 and my attempt is due on May 2015.

Even if i go for leaves of 3 months (as required by ICAI), my attempt should be the same. Please guide.

Dear Expert- Insurance agent receives commission from insurance company and service tax is also paid by insurance company as per reverse charge mechanism (100% to be paid by SR)

Q1)Now commission received has crossed Rs 10 Lakhs, Is insurance agent require to get himself registered under service tax? even though he is not require to pay service tax since it is paid by insurace company.

Q2) if yes then under which category of service, insurance agent should get himself registered? (Q2 not very impt)

Q3) if yes then while filling ST 1 in point no 4. Category of Registrant what is to be tick ? under
(a) Person liable to pay service tax i) service provider or service receiver?
Or (b) Other person/class of persons?

as per section 69(1) every person liable to pay service tax and section 69(2) the notified person by CG i.e service receiver should get register under service tax.

incase if 100% ST is to be paid by service receiver then even service provider should get himself registered?

Dear sir/madam, I want to take transfer of my articleship after one year on the grounds of my marriage and relocation to new city.i sent letter to icai along with proof of marriage certificate and principal CA permission letter i.e,No objection letter.but I didn't receive any response from icai,how many months it will take it's already 3.5 months are over..I called institute but they didn't say anything about the time it takes to respond..plss can anyone solve my problem???

I have taken my articleship transfer after one year by submitting proof of marriage certificate.Even icai had given permission letter.My remaining articleship period is only for 6 months but i checked online few days back it was showing as 10 months i.e 4 months more.i filled form 109 very carefully.i didn't receive any letter from icai after submitting form109. I want to know whether icai will send letter to my past CA principal after taking transfer so that I can check the letter.. I asked my past CA but he said that he didn't receive any letter..I want to know whether icai will send letter to student and CA both about articleship transfer stating balance of articleship remaining etc.plsssss reply..
