am pe2 student i gave attempt on nov
can i join in artcleship without passing pe2 bcoz i wanted to shift over to pcc
but till may 2008 i cannot shift to pcc itseems
meanwhile i would like to join in artcleship and i would like to prepare for pe2 please help me

a)Gain in Sale of Land\Fixed asset
b)Amortization of premium

One of my friend is doing his Articleship but after Approximately 3 months there is a misunderstanding between his Seniors & him and know he is going to resign.

He wants to join some one else for Training. What will be the process of the same. Which forms will be used.

And importantly impression of the same in his career.

Which books i should buy for both groups of CA final old course.

Pls tell me.

I have cleared my PE-II in May 2007 and also completed my MBA in Finance from MIT College, Pune in March 2007. From April 2007 till Nov 12, 2007 i was working with PriceWaterhouseCoopers Private Limited, Pune in Transfer Pricing Group as Business Analyst. Have shifted to Mumbai for pursuing Articleship in good CA firm and since i am from Mumbai, i will prefer Mumbai for my Articleship. Can you pls suggest me the CA firms where there are vacancies for articles.

It isn't a hidden fact from any of the fellow-members how tough it is to become
CA. But i have heard constantly that CA students pursue B.Com(mostly) also. This year in july, when i was in DU, i had seen CA students who had just enrlled in PCC , attending FSA for admission to B.Com course.

Is it that B.Com has to be done from big-branded colege or BCom of (ignou-icai) will work

I am doing IT with one of the MNC. Total duration of my IT is 10 months. Now the member under whom i was registered has resigned so i have to take a fresh registration under a new member of the same co.

the problem now is that only 6 months is left for my training & if i give application for fresh registration in form 104 my application will be rejected on the ground that registration can be done min. of 9 months

Plz suggest
