25 November 2007 Sir,

I have passed the Inter exams during 1996-97
I got an overseas employment oppurtunity and returned to India after five years. I did join for the final course upon my retrun but could not appear for the exams

Kindly advise whether I am still eligible to complete my CA course and if yes then when can I appear for the exams.

25 November 2007 Yes. You have to pay the re-registration charges applicable if any. You can appear for your CA FINAL. You can appear in May 08 or Nvember 08 at the earliest after good preparations. If you want to switch over to new syllabus then prepare well and appear in November 2008. This time prepare all things so well that no other adjustments need to be made. Good Luck.
