24 November 2007 I AM A STUDENT OF CA FINAL YEAR. MY 1ST ATTEMPT IS IN MAY 2009.AS THE BILL FOR NEW COMPANY ACT IS EXEPECTED TO PRESENT IN THIS WINTER SESSION.

1. BY WHEN NEW COMPANY ACT IS EXPECTED TO BE IMPLEMENTD?
2. SHOULD I JOIN ANY COCHING CENTER FOR THIS SUBJECT RIGHT NOW OR WAIT FOR NEW COMPANY ACT?
3.BY WHEN THE DIRECT TAX CODE IS EXEPECTED TO BE IMPLEMENTED?

24 November 2007 For Companies Act, the same will be for discussion and hence is expected by next year. At the same time in CA Final they ask all amendments upto six months prior to examinations. Hence you will have new Companies Act. You may take classes for it now. Classes may have a lecture later after the new Companies Act is introduced. Hence study Law now and revise later.

24 November 2007 Join classes of Group I now. Companies Act you can always go through the Act later as there will be revision lectures or even refresher lectures. Do not hold your classes. Our Government will take its time.
