Oil Storage Tanks whether these can be classified as Plant & Machinery and 15% depreciation can be taken on it?? or it is Building eligible for 10% depreciation. Please clarify?

Can CS qualified guy pursue CA course. Is there any rule which prohibits him/her to study the course when already he/she is a qualified CS. And also can you please let me know for how many hours a day an article student can work if he/she qualifies IPCC.

I gave CA final Nov-2008
2 yrs completed in 06-09-2008
leave taken with mutual consent for at least 4months with no payments for 6 months from CA.
During the leave period i attended office 2 to 3 days in week for work.
now wanto to take transfer by giving full details of leave in Form109

will it affect my result? it will be hold back byICAI

Can anyone give me a confirmed date as to when the results of the Nov. 2008 exams are going to be declared? I've been hearing its as late as 27th of this month and that is scary!!!

· Registered for Article-ship 30 July 2008 acknowledgement received.

MY QUWRY IS:-

1. Now, can he switch over to IPCC NOV 2009?


2. Only one part or both parts?

3. When he will be eligible for Finals?

4. When his article ship will be completed?

5. For study course – any classroom study provided by the institute at Jaipur.

6. Syllabus (course contents and level of subject) is same for PCC & IPCC.

7. Study material supplied by the Board of Studies for PCC will be used for IPCC or sapearate material will be supplied for IPCC.

8. FEE TO BE PAID - IF FEE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION TO PCC WILL BE ADJUSTED IF YES UPTO WHAT EXTENT.

i am a pcc student
which is considered better by companies who appoint new ca's. ?
*scoring good in xams by giving it grp wise ( 1 grp in may and other in nov).
or
getting just pass marks but giving both groups in 1 attempt . (both grps in may)??

coz i have 50% of syllabus of grp 2 to be covered and my attempt is due in may 09 ..

I started my articleships on 22th of october 2008 i.e according to it i can give my PCC exams in may 2010 i.e after completing my one & a half year of articleships?
But as now u all may b aware that new IPCC has came which provides that students can appear for 1st group of PCC in nov2009?
So my query is that can i get transfer to it ?
I also wanna give my 1st group in nov2009?
What shld i do?
Any option by ICAI?

Could anyone suggest a book/ site on excise wherein details of maintaining excise records/ registers/ forms etc. is given in a simple language?
