Hi,
I had registered with ICAI under the old syllabus and had cleared my intermediate in 2002 and was eligible for final from November 2003 onwards. However, I have not sit for any final exams till date. I had filled up the forms a couple of times but couldnt sit due to job constraint. I am filling up the forms for May 2009. Kindly let me know whether I will have to study under the old syllabus or the new one.

hi noor....
as per your query i think u will be eligible for old syllabus as u are registered in that only....but this is the last attempt of old syllabus.so you have to clear it otherwise u will have to get shifted to new syllabus n it will be really difficult for you in that with new things.....
so for clarification just ring the institute and ask the personal there in board of studies....
any other help m there...
just give me mail...

You can write the examination in the old syllabus and not the new syllabus.
