Whether the registration of ca student is valid for 5yrs from the date initially registered as stated in PERIOD OF VALIDATION FOR REGISTRATION FOR CA STUDENT
OR it is valid for 5 attempts.

Now PCC students can give final attempt in the last 6 months of the articleship. There was a notification i was not aware of.

So u can appear in May 2011.

Sir could u tell me plz when this notification was issued? as per old eligibility creteria i was eligible to appear in NOV 2010 CA final exam as my articleship of 3.5 yrs is competes on 11th aug2010 does that mean I have lost one attempt.

Sir im pcc student.I exahausted 5 attempts but could not cleared the exam.whether registration for the pcc is valid for 5 attempts or 5 years as stated in period validation for registration of ca student.so for appearing in Nov 2010 exams i need to revalidate my registration since i exhausted 5 attempts.

I am in PCC and I want to know that if I clear my PCC will get any exemption if I want to do CS then??

Any Subject or I have to undergo the foundation also..

what is the fees? Is their any benefit in getting the papers re-checked.

in the exam application form of Nov 2010 the eligibility criteria for PCC students is as follows :

(iv) you must be in service as on 1st November, 2010 and serving the last six months of training including excess leave, if any and due to complete 3 1/2 years on or before 30th April, 2011. (for PCC students) (Certificate of service to this effect will be sent to the Addl. Secretary Exams) by 30th November, 2010.

OR

(vi) you must be in service as on 1st November 2010 and serving the last 12 months of article training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 1/2 years of articleship or or before 31st October 2011(for students converted from PEII to Pcc as well as students converted from PEII to PCC and then to IPCC) (certificate of service to this effect should be sent to the Addl. Secretary(Exams) by 30th November 2010.
Candidates who have taken termination are advised to re-register for the balance preiod of training so as to be in service as on 1stNovember 2010 and to complete 3 years or 3 1/2 years of training (including excess leave taken, if any) on or before 31st October, 2011 or 30th april 2011 respectively.
