If company issues a duplicate share certificate, whether stamp duty is payble in following cases:
1. When duplicate share certificate is issued in liu of:
a. Share certificate lost / misplaced
b. Sharecertificate measfisened / torned
c. Consolidated or sub-divided

If stamp duty is payble, how much it shold be paid?

Can any one tell me the procedure for renewal of DSC??????

I need to know whether Section 274(1)(g) shall be applicable to all companies or it is applicable only to

- Public Company and
- Private Company, which is a subsidiary of Public Company

I noticed somewhere that Section 274(1)(g) shall not be applicable to a Private Company, which is not a subsidiary of any public company.

A friend of mine is working in an audit firm, who used to collect letter from each director of private companies (which are not subsidiary of any public company) in connection with Section 274(1)(g).

Also, the auditor of the above firm would mention in his auditor's report regarding Section 274(1)(g).

Though it may be a good practice to obtain such letter from directors of private companies (which are not subsidiary of any public company) and mention in the auditor's report regarding section 274(1)(g), my query / doubt is,

- whether Section 274(1)(g) is strictly
not applicable to a private company
(which is not a subsidiary of any public
company).

- whether auditor's report does not
require at all to mention anything about
Section 274(1)(g) in the case of a
private company (which is not a
subsidiary of any public company).

My company is purchasing land in exchange wants to issue shares, therefore i wants to show in its accounts that share application money received in exchage of land.

This will be shown as
Land A/c---Dr
To Share Application Account--Cr

This means in other way share application money recd in kind.


My question is whether company can receive share application money in kind.

i want to incorporate a new company in which my wife will be the first dieecor as well as subcriber i applied for getting the din no of my wife but it was rejected on account of fathers name is not matched with the id proof which was attached with the application.i attached the passport copy as a id proof and residence proof.as we know that the fathers name is mentioned in the residence address proof page and i dont any more proof in which fathers name is mentioned after marriage my name is attached as last name so can u help me how to get the din no when no proof of father name is available.
