Reverse charge on service tax

HELLO SIR, I AM HAVING ONE BILL CONTAINING LABOUR + MATERIAL CHARGES FOR WORKS CONTRACT ON WHICH NEITHER SERVICE TAX NOR VAT IS LEVIED AS THAT INDIVIDUAL IS NOT REGISTERED UNDER BOTH ACTS.
SO WHETHER WE SHOULD PAY SERVICE TAX UNDER REVERSE CHARGE MECHANISM OR NOT?

Work contract or not

Dear sir,

I Have a client who is operating a Business in printing work. He uses his own paper and other material (Ink) to take the final printout as per customer specification.

I,m little confused whether this printing work would include in work contract or not.

Thanks in Advance

In Supply of manpower , security services service provider is propreitor & service receiver is Ltd / Pvt ltd company. & in Legal & professional Advocate is indiviual / firm & service receiver is Mfg company.

So my question is that in above both cases service receiver is able to take cenvat credit ? & if yes plz let's know the procedure.

Invoice vs. proforma invoice.

I work for a telecom service provider. We issue annual advance bills to our clients. i.e. bills are issued in March for next financial year. We are paying Service Tax in April as per POT. But, my auditor says that we must issue a proforma invoice and may pay service tax on receipt of payment.
