Billing in case of goods distributed free

Dear All,
I seek your advice in this matter that when a dealer is giving a scheme that after 5 quantity of goods purchased, the customer will get 1 quantity free. In this case the billing is done separately for both quantities. The problem is in octroi billing where one has to show atleast 75% of MRP, no vat is collected on same. Since it is for free, however a separate bill of 75% is made. Can you suggest us a better way of billing and charging vat on the same?

Time limit for input claim under kvat rules

Dear Experts, Hope u enjoying your hectic schedule. i have a query. Is there any time limit to claim input credit under KVAT Rules if the dealer is not all filed his returns. for eg; he has not filed the return from Apr 10 and now he wants to file all the returns from Apr 10 till Aug 11 at one go. Can the department deny the input credit for April 10 to March 11?

Excess vat input

Sir,
One of client is saleing cement which attractes VAT @ 14% in rajasthan.
Suppose Company's Billing (i.e. Purchase amount ) is 240,than Client have the input credit of = 240*14/114 = 29.47 RS,
Where Client is the wholeseeler who sale the same @ 230 Rs PB,output credit = 230*14/114 = 28.24.
After this company gives the credit of 12 RS to Our client without recovry of VAT.
Now Our client have an excess of Input Credit on RS 10 .
Now my ques. is whether he will be able get the refund of that or may be adjusted in next Vat return.
