Hi i have appeared for my CA Finals exam in May 2012.I have completed my Internship from HSBC Bank Ltd and i plan to join banking sector post qualification. Recently i received a mail from FLIP learning for persuing some 6 months course in Risk Management and credit Operations / Investment Banking they charge sumwhere around 6K for the course and they also guarantee placement in reputed banks. Does anyone have any idea are this courses genuine or just a way to fool people??????

What are the countries that a CA can go and find a job without writinbg any additional papers in that particular countries?????????????

I am an IPCC student and passed Group-1 of IPCC and started Articleship from 16-03-2012. I didn't regester for ATC at the time of registration of IPCC. Can I register for ATC now ? Im a student of the Institute.I ve heard many of my friends takin up offer packages as low as Rs 2,40,000 per annum or even worse after having cleared in 2nd attempt....
but viewing the wide spectrum of abilities that a CA possess,shouldnt they be paid the highest in india?...I mean, its the toughest to clear ;is it not a factor for determining the salary? Even a b com graduate takes home more than that!

I wanted to know is Indian CA recognised in Singapore.

i am krishnamraju currently working with IONVESCO as a senior portfolio administrator into reconciliation. I would like to take an advice on the CFA(USA) course and how this is going to be. I have registered in the site for the membership and i am stuck at the payment of the fees which is going to be $1125. But, before proceeding, i would to know how the exchange rate would be for conversion into rupee terms for such dollar amount. I am not bothering about the payment but i am concerned about the exchange rate.
