In the guarantee agreement document it is said that:
In consideration of its guaranteeing the obligations of borrower in respect of the said loan and Guarantee Agreements, the borrower undertakes to pay the Guarantor on 1st April each year a guarantee fee of 1.20% p.a. on the principal amounts of the loan withdrawn and outstanding plus the interest outstanding, on 31st March every year from time to time until the entire principal amount of the loan and the interest and other charges thereon have been repaid. Any default in the payment of prescribed guarantee fee would entail a penalty equivalent to double the rate of guarantee fee for the period of default.

Query is
1.What is the due date of payment of Guarantee fee for the F.Y.2011-12 and on which date's loan outstanding is taken for calculation of fee for the F.Y.2011-12?
2.If the payment is made on 28.03.2012 for the F.Y.2011-12, Number of days of default ........?

IF INTEREST PAID TO DEPOSITORS BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF BUSINESS THEN WHETHER IT SHOULD BE CAPITALIZED IN THE COST OF MACHINERY OR TREATED AS P&P EXPENSES

Can any body tell me about the maximum Audit limit as per companies act it is 20 ltd companies excluding pvt company but my confusion is about the limit imposed on Audits by ICAI.Is non complaince of ICAI limits amounts to professional misconduct.The limit for Tax Audit is seperate or will be included in the above.

I filled the bank audit empanelment form for the year 2012-13 and got category VI SP.

Does i am eligible for appointment & does i get the bank audit for FY 2012-13?

I am currently doing an audit of a private limited company preparing its financials under the IGAAP.It falls under the head SMC except for the fact that the holding company of the said SMC is registered in USA and prepares its financials under the US GAAP.The holding company is a non SMC as per the IGAAP.Is the exemptions allowed to an SMC from AS still appicable to the company under audit?
