Is it a cost Or Non Cost??& Why??Please give me a reason.

Can any body tell me about the maximum Audit limit as per companies act it is 20 ltd companies excluding pvt company but my confusion is about the limit imposed on Audits by ICAI.Is non complaince of ICAI limits amounts to professional misconduct.The limit for Tax Audit is seperate or will be included in the above.

the first auditor is required to intimate his acceptance of appointment to ROC or not ?

What does it meant "category VI SP" for bank audit empanelment for FY 2012-13 purpose.

I filled the bank audit empanelment form for the year 2012-13 and got category VI SP.

Does i am eligible for appointment & does i get the bank audit for FY 2012-13?

I am currently doing an audit of a private limited company preparing its financials under the IGAAP.It falls under the head SMC except for the fact that the holding company of the said SMC is registered in USA and prepares its financials under the US GAAP.The holding company is a non SMC as per the IGAAP.Is the exemptions allowed to an SMC from AS still appicable to the company under audit?

I will do the audit of statutory payments from monday, can any body tell me that how to audit statutory payment and which important point kept to be mind during the audit..?

One of my friend completed CA in Nov 2011 attempt, he got the COP in July 2012, the query is:
1. can he be appointed as an Auditor for AY 2012-13 as on date (incorporated few years back)?

2. Company incorporated in Jan 2012, can he be appointed as auditor for AY 2012-13?

I have a question regarding audit of an entity under Transfer Pricing and report under Section 92E. The company which audit is to be done has an associate enterprise in Germany. It is a Travel Service company and German tourists come from its associate enterprise in Germany and this company conducts tour here. Indian Company and German firm are separate entities. The Indian company sends its quotation on cost plus basis to German entity and after negotiation of rates the German firm confirms the tour. After the tour is conducted Indian Company generates Invoice in equivalent US $ and after that payment is received from Germany in US $. Please guide how to conduct this audit & how to make a report under sec 92E. I would be thankful if you could provide a filled report u/s 92E along with the annexures.
