Appointment of auditor for ay 2012-13 of new passed ca

One of my friend completed CA in Nov 2011 attempt, he got the COP in July 2012, the query is:
1. can he be appointed as an Auditor for AY 2012-13 as on date (incorporated few years back)?

2. Company incorporated in Jan 2012, can he be appointed as auditor for AY 2012-13?

There are lots of question in it which you have asked like:

1. Can auditor be appointed for back date period.

2. Can auditor be appointed before his COP date.

3. If it is old company, you wish to remove the previous auditor with new one even after passing of time.

So in my view how one can get appointment at date of previous AGM on which some other auditor already being appointed.

Further your friend got COP in July 2012 and wanted to get appointed for 2011-12 (how it is possible?).

It seems you are more worrying appointing him as auditor then him.

Better think to appoint them for F.Y 2012-13.
