If an auditor fails to disclose or discloses erroneous information in the published financial statements, would it constitute professional misconduct of the auditor implying material misstatements in the financial statements? Also if an auditor fails to provide certain information in one year but discloses in subsequent year or vice versa,would it constitute professional misconduct of the auditor implying material misstatements in the financial statements?

I am starting my practice and want to know 1.)whether I can take up work of a institution conducting various classes( guitar, karate, abacus etc) if my daughter is attending abacus class in that same institute. It is a small institute run under partnership by 2 ladies.
They want me to help them in preparing P&L, B/S and file its return.
2.) they started their institute 2 years ago but have not filed any IT return so far. As return can be filed within 1 yr from the end of Relevant assessment yr. can they efile 2 yrs return together this yr?.

Please guide me in this regard

As per clause 4 of part 1 of first schedule, a CA can enter into partnership with people whose qualification is recognized by the CG or the council.A past year question about partnership between CA and advocate, asking whether is it professional misconduct or not.Pankaj sir and Surbhi madam book says it is not misconduct as advocate (I.e. Bar council) is recognized by council. However, PRactice manual says that it is misconduct. Kindly clarify what to follow. Pankaj sir and surbhi madam's answer is logical and seems right, but ICAI gives mark for study mat's language. Thanks.

I want to know what are the changes in PAPER 6 : AUDIT OF IPCC FOR MAY 2015 attempt. Is the syllabus same as it was for MAY 2014 attempt ? Which edition of ICAI MODULE to refer for MAY 2015 attempt ?
