i am preparing for nov 2010 ca final (old course)and i am following yogendra bangar book for IDT.content wise its good but as far as problems are concerned i feel there are only few problems to practice.my query is do i need to follow some other book for problems or the illustrations given in that book are enough for preparation?

i got 51 in acs, 55 in law,49 in costing n 39 in tax in group 1 ipcc in may 10..i have given my tax paper for rechecking bcoz i need 6 more marks to clear ,,,n i had expected around 50 marks in tax,,,,,

I had worked in a company for 3 years. Now I have moved to another company. I want to withdraw my PF. Please advise if the amount withdrawn is taxable @ 30.3% . My ex-employer says that PF contribution for less than 5 years is taxable.

I'm a student of IPCC since February 2009. i skipped the november 2009 attempt and when finally i tried it for the first time in may 2010 I got a negative result because i wasn't serious.

I had the illusion that nothing including CA requires hardwork because I'd been an academic topper all through my life without even opening a book. But I was so wrong to take CA so lightly and I had to pay the price heavily.

Now that I've realised that everything including CA requires dedication,committment and hardwork, i also now know that i've very less time left for the november 2010 attempt. I don't want to make any mistakes this time.

so I'd be really grateful if some of you hardworking people could advise me as to which books I should study during the self study process so that I achieve success this time not just with charm and confidence but also with hardwork.
