I have a PPF a/c in the name of my HUF which matured on 31-03-2010. I hear the ppf a/c's of HUF are not to be extented for a further period of 5 years as per government circular. However on application, my bank has extended my account. Can I be denied interest on the balance amount by the bank later on giving the reason that the account was extended by mistake. What should I do ?

3. Making provisions as on last date of month along with TDS effect
4. Drs & Crs reco statmenet
5. BRS
6. passing entries for interest accrued & payable for 1 month.
7. Sch. of FA with depreciation taken for one month.
8. Passing depreciation entries for one month
9. Salary payable entry with effect to PF,ESIC,PT & TDS.

I am giving one transaction below, can you please explain me what will be the tax implications?

1) If a NRI whose mother have a property in her name in India, if she transfer that property to his name what will be the tax implication?

as well.

2) If anything unfortunate happen to his mother and property get automatically transfer to his name (because he is the only son) what will be the tax implication?
