What is 'AIR' & 'IFRS'?

Hi,

I do part time accounts book writing work upto finalization in 2-3 firms, however, I would like to know that if I want to register myself as a "Sole Proprietor" and undertake jobs like accounts book-writing, tds/service tax return filing, etc. then, what are the legal requirements (Sole Proprietor License, Service Tax registration if at all required) for such registration as I live in Mumbai. This is because, if I have to open a bank account in my Sole proprietor's name for e.g. "T K Associates", then, the bank may require some proof for the same. Pls. reply.

I am in a bit of Confusion that my articleship is officially going to get completed on 18th of March,2011 and i have an extension of about 6 months.My Current Principle told to us that we an option that we can continue at the existing principle or we can register your self under a new principle for the extended period,but some are suggesting that we cannot do the extended period under a new principle we have to do it with the existing one only & some are suggesting we can do it under a new principle.so please help me out and do tell me what would be documents required in either case.

what is a module? Is it the study material given by ICAI at the time of registration?

Dear Experts,

my present salary is rs.18000/- pm. i want my current employer to start pf deduction on rs.6500/- wef from this march 11 in to already existing pf a/c which has been opened by my previous employer.
Last contribution in this a/c was made in july 09 by my previous employer.
From aug 09 to till date there is no contribution into the a/c.

Can i do this? pls advice me.

hello sir...... i have my pcc exams in dis may. dis is my 4th attempt. and for dis time i just want to clear my pcc, but when it comes to studying,i can't study properly.
concentration nahi kar pati. mujhe exams ke lia leave bhi abhi dis march se mili hai. i know agar aisa hi chala to i can't pass.
mai padna chahti hu, but jab padne baithti hu dhyan idhar udhar bhagta hai. aisa nahi hai ki i m a dull student nor i am a superb intelligent girl.
plz help me as soon as possible.
