PF contribution after time gap of 1.5 yr

Dear Experts,
my present salary is rs.18000/- pm. i want my current employer to start pf deduction on rs.6500/- wef from this march 11 in to already existing pf a/c which has been opened by my previous employer.
Last contribution in this a/c was made in july 09 by my previous employer.
From aug 09 to till date there is no contribution into the a/c.
Can i do this? pls advice me.

You can use that PF A/c.
you will not face any issues/problems but you need to give the same account no. to your current employer.
